He played something like 10 games for Stoke, the following season, coming off the bench. Went on loan to Yeovil, but didn't play much at all. His career has stalled somewhat.
I will never forget celebrating his hatrick and the crowd chanting 'Rooney!'. He looked a bit disorientated by that!
