with the amount of young 'uns coming through the ranks where do you think we will finish next season?

Dean Wilkins & Martin Hinshelwood have helped produce a lot of very good young'uns for the Albion.

Maybe it's time they were put up a few rungs of the ladder to help the young'uns progress to the next level?

Depends who the manager will be, under someone other than Magoo i reckon the team is capable of a top half finish.

Just to remind you, what you said the other day about us not getting a play-off place if the 2003-04 has started when McGhee took over as manager wasn't true.

We would have even played the same s/f opponents, Swindon.

The basis of the squad is there.

Henderson is quality and the other two are good youngsters. Would like Kuipers to compete with Henderson but he's surely off, I wonder how much pressure will the youngsters put on Wayne, and will faith be put with them if he's injured?

Central defence is strong, Hinsh, Lynch, El-Abd, Elphick, Butters (probably). We do lack natural full backs though. Kerry is good at leftback in League One, Rents can cover? Lynch may play there anyhow.
At right back we have Jason Dodd, I think he'd be worth a pay-as-you-play deal but unlikely. Reid, Hart and El-Abd can do a job but aren't natural there.

In central midfield I think we're pretty strong, Reid, Chippy, Hammond, Oatway are all good enough at that level. I'd like to see a younger defensive midfielder come in to replace Chippy and Oatway. We have Nicolas but he will leave at the end of the season. We have good youngsters coming through in Fraser and Chamberlain though (Dean Cox can play there too apparently).
On the wings we have Frutos and Carole, while they're both talented I don't think either has done enough for a club to pay a fee for them. Also Gary Hart, Dean Cox, and possibly Albert Jarrett although I'd expect him to leave.

Up front is the biggest concern.
We have CKR, Gatting, Robinson, Turienzo, and Molango. Molango will most likely leave. That leaves just the 4, and Gary Hart. None of whom are proven goalscorers at any level. Hart never will be, the three youngsters I believe could come good (I'd especially like to see Robinson get more of a chance). Turienzo, well who knows if he can stay fit and what part he could play if he does. It would be good to see a more proven, experienced player come in. GNW a possibilty?

I think we've got a squad that should finish in the top 10 at the very least.

Around mid table. But flirting with relegation, and playoffs at times.

i think next season will be a transition period and we will finish mid table or just off the play offs. The season after we will either sink or swim with the youngsters coming through the ranks.

Final postition mid table. But a poor start sees us flirting with the relegation places. But then we go on an amazing run to get to playoffs. Then Reading nick whoever our best player is. Therefore we slip down the league, and finish mid table.
