Don't think we will do well next year!! - league one will be another hard struggle for the players - Unless the current management team changes I predict we will finish in the bottom 4 because the team has now got a losing mentality!!

I think its very hard to call.

It'll depend on a number of things - Will we keep McShane (no chance!), Frutos, Carole, Noel-Williams (will we want to?)

How will the youngsters do? Sink or swim?

Big Mac's doing alright at Brizzol. It's a pretty poor league but very tight and close.

My big worry as that we'll lack a goalscorer. We can compete in every other area. CKR will really need to prove himself. On previous occasions we had Bobby and Leon. We need a 20/30 goal striker. Can CKR do it? Maybe.

I think we could do well, with a few decent signings and a bit of luck we could challenge at the top. If we lose players, or even keep Fruity/Carole will they struggle with physicallity?

If they can't, or we lose them, and possibly others, and the youngsters struggle to find their feet we could be worrying about relegation (virtually 50% of the league has been this year!!)

Far to early to call but optimistic. I'm pinning my hopes on CKR proving to the footballing world that he's a very good young striker. It's been hard for him this year, struggling team and first season at this level. Fingers crossed he'll score shiteloads.

Agreed, and for the same reason Turkey gives. CKR will get 15+ season - if he just sorts out his fitness, he will be our Freddie Eastwood. We will consolidate strongly in the top half of the table and I will be disappointed if we don't get to the play-offs.

mid table at best, unless we get a miracle worker and two decent strikers.. we've got the players to feed them , a strong defence and a keeper i trust.. now need to make and put away chances, if thats possible , NOTHING saying we can't come back up! (if McGhee sorted it out in January , nothing saying we couldn't have stayed up this season , but thems the breaks)

Mid-table. If we discover the striker we're missing, and find someone to fill that troublesome left-back slot, perhaps a play-off place.

The basis of the side is pretty sound, we just need a bit more quality in a couple of places:

Hendo

?
Lynch
Hinsh
El Abd

Frutos
Reid
Oatway
Hammond

Kazim-Richards (potentially)
?

This is the Albion we're talking about, we don't do boring midtable stuff and I don't even want to think about relegation so playoffs and a glorious victory at the new Wembley Stadium it is!

I think it will be one of those seasons where things could go either way until probably the last 10 games or so, at which point we will drift into mid-table obscurity. If we can keep the core of the squad and the better young players, plus add a couple of good signings, then the play-offs are achievable. If we don't and lose or don't replace a couple of players then I can see us having a difficult season.

There are of course a number of other factors that come into play, who will be manager, how long will the doubts over Falmer prevail, etc, etc...life is never boring following the Albion.

Depends who the manager will be, under someone other than Magoo i reckon the team is capable of a top half finish.

Get rid of McGhee and bring in a goal scorer to play with CKR and we will be playoffs at worst, going for automatic. Our defence will be far too good for lg 1
