Where were the loan players ?

Apart from Assulin on the bench. They were signed to add quality to the team and Mattock was supposed to be fit but where was he along with Reyes and Vokes ? Are their days at the club numbered ?

I think GP is using these games to see who he's going to keep from the existing contracted squad. There is no mileage in the loan players being involved unless he knows(and wants) he's going to have them next season. Although it was mathmatically possible last night that we could still make the play-offs, GP knows that without a huge investment next year we'd be getting tonked by most teams week in, week out so now he'll start the cull

On balance our loan signings this year have been a bit of a let-down (Paynter, Reyes, Razak, Vokes, Harper, Assulin). Why would Gus NOT play Assulin last night with just 3 games of his loan spell left. Mystery.
