You could see if theres a break in the weather and head for a pram walk in wakehurst place gardens, its got 2 cafes one at the entrance along with a national trust shop and a bigger one which does decent meals, if the rain is too heavy you can at least get food and shop for vaguely historical tat. Only big minus is without NT membership its a bit pricey.

We suffer the same kind of problems. We have a 15 month old who is walking. As long as she holds your hand. Otherwise still crawling. Too young for soft play places but too old and active to just sit put in a buggy.

Pub it will be then..... She can have a crawl/wander around with mum and I'll get a bit tipsy.
