Excuse me if I am wrong, but there is nothing to celebrate yet. Until we have the final yes, I would say, calm down.

There is everything to celebrate. Our survival is ensured. We WILL have a new stadium.

Not picking holes, but how do you reach that conclusion?

Prescott agrees that we can build at Falmer.

Unless there is somewhere MORE suitable.

Put 2 and 2 together.

We are allowed to build at Falmer unless we find a better site.

It has not be ensured, there is still another process to go through to ensure it, but until that is done, there is still work to do. I agree we are nearer the finishing line but not there yet.

Anyway I thought that you had never arranged to meet up with friends via the internet...

Yeah, s'pose. But can we really afford to go through it all again?

I mean, if it is deemed that, say, Shoreham Harbour is more suitable then is simply a case of saying "okay, we'll build it there" and get on with it? Would that not also be put through a public inquiry?

There is another process which must take place but whatever the outcome we win.

I'm not meeting friends.. I want to meet Albion fans in general to celebrate!

I agree with Uncle Buck and Scotty lets all calm down. I was really expecting a Yes or a No result, the issue just seems to run and run. Don't forget were dealing with the Albion here so something is bound to crop up. I go one step further than Scotty I wont be properly celebrating till I am watching the first game at falmer. Heaven forbid they find Saxon graves, endangered slugs or almost extinct flowers on the site. I WOULD GO MAD !!

Am sure it says other sites have to be looked at and dismissed. But as Collyer turned down the application, I think they are going to have to make sure the argument for the stadium is water tight before granting it. I suspect that the NIMBY's will be seeking a judicial review whatever.

Your optimisim is commendable, but occasionally a grip on reality is needed.

No. The next inquiry will decide yes/no on any site. If they say another site is better we can 100% build there.

I doesn't matter what Collyer said. John Prescott has said we can build at Falmer.

ffs the club have spent the last few years looking at possible sites

we don't have a group of dossers and dwads in charge here, they do everything by the f***ing book

they will not find another suitable site
