Where is the Slade/Knight/White/Brooker etc. 'in or out' poll?

Three wins in four and it all goes silent. Surely some people are not so shallow to think that a few good results have removed all that is rotten to the core at the club?

We dug deep yesterday, but Oldham were shit.

I still don't see a future at the club for Booker and White- we need a clearout.

Strange that Vulture hardly comes on here when we win.

I know that yours is a view shared by some on here, but I have never quite understood why there is such vitriol towards them. I have no idea if Brooker and White are good at their jobs or not, as I don't see them in action day to day, and so don't feel qualified to judge.

Do you think that people have it in for them because they resemble a pair of old PE teachers, and it is from that 'look' that people consider them to be as useful as a turd in a bath? Or is it the supposed lack of 'passion' that irritates. For me it is talent, tactics and ability that wins matches, fans play an emotional part of the game, management provide the structure and for that a cool head is needed, but not convinced my views are universal.

Just as important, could we get someone better to replace them, for the same money?

I think you've hit the nail on the head.

I was having this same discussion with Chesney Christ yesterday, before the game, and we both agreed that we have no idea why White gets the stick he does, when none of us actually know what he does, day to day.

He said to me that most of it seems based on the fact that he is a bit overweight and sounds a little slow in interviews.

I'm going to start another thread on a closely related subject right now, just to make a point to the White knockers.....

Mr El Pres, I think the reason for it is how shite we've been this season, and considering the players are pretty much at the same level of ability as we had last season, the only difference is the tactics and the coaching, or so it seems to us atleast. And who can you blame for that? Micky and his band of merry men. I grew to quite like Dean White while he was caretaker, he's not nearly as thick as you think he would be from looking at him (sorry mr White, but with that hair, you look a prat!...). Booker seems pointless though!...

White annoys me because during interviews, while being asked questions, he is constantly going "mm-hm, mm-hm", acknowledging that the guy is asking a question. It really annoys me. He has to go.

White and booker can't be good, i seem to recall losing 4-0 against crewe.

Oh do behave! What did you want them to do?! Until McNulty's horrorshow we were well in the game, but we'd had to use all 3 subs and were screwed. What could White or Booker have done?! It's so unfair to hold them, or anyone, accountable for that. It was just one of those things.

Millwall 0-1 Brighton.

But are the players the same level of ability as last season? We have lost in midfield Hammond (although he only played half of last season), Westlake, Racon and Thomson, and our two strikers have been missing for half the season each. Add to that the retirement of Guy Butters, Joel Lynch's head expanding, and some poor signings by MA, and there is little difference to last season in many ways.

What I would say (IMO) is that some players do appear to have gone backwards this season, such as Cox, Elphick, El Abd, Robinson and Fraser. Even FDM has looked a lot shakier this season than last. That could be due to the coaching, complacency amongst the players, or a lack of form leading a lack of confidence.
