All part of the game. It's not dirty just a little sneaky.
Brighton don't need to sell Caicedo. We are not desperate for money, and RDZ would rather he stays, so there is no motivation to be 'sneaky'.

Fred is off so time for Man U to get involved. We know arsenal like him. Just need them to come back in then Saudi to swoop.

Liverpool really need a player in the Caicedo mould and, as the window's gone on, that's become more urgent with other departures. Will serve Chelsea right if messing around all summer comes back to bite them. I wonder if they're getting cold feet on the financial front anyway... could see them using funds to panic buy another striker now Nkunku is out for a while.
Indeed. Their issue is detailed in this match report of their final pre-season friendly...

Without the safeguard of a holding midfielder sitting just ahead of the three-man backline, we’d be far from surprised to see a repeat of this exact play occur throughout the opening section of the upcoming season.
You can be sure it’s a weakness Mauricio Pochettino will be looking to exploit when Liverpool make the trip to the English capital to kick off the league season.
Hammer Trent over his positioning if you must, but it’s still clear that our best fix will come from the market.

We don't need to but I think we realise we are at the top end of his value now. We also don't stand in the way of players who want to leave. As it's been said a 1000 times .... Meet the price and he's gone.

Chelsea player in the next 48 hours as much as I hate to say it
Sources about this started approximately 10/08/23 at 12:30pm BST.
I will keep a timer for 48 hours until 12/08/23 at 12:30pm BST.
Let's see if he becomes the "Chelsea player" after months of reporting...

I'm absolutely convinced we are behind these leaks. We've now sprinkled a little Bayern on top.

Do give it a rest.

Would love to see him go to Bayern and see the fallout from Chelsea fans. But with bid in for Kane can they afford it
They hardly ever spend, they're highest incoming was Lucas Hernandez at like £50-60m, they made that from just Lewandowski.

Bayern interested now according to Sky!
I would prefer him to go to Bayern out of the three clubs.
Might be good since we wouldn't have to face him in the PL.
But will he go, realistically? I don't think so as his "preferred choice is Chelsea."

This all smells like Moises's agent being given an Ultimatum by TB you either get him a move by next week, or he's staying.
Liverpool have been interested for months. If they now have the funding in place and feel the time is right it will not really be a surprise. An ultimatum wouldn’t have been necessary because it’s public knowledge that Tony will not sell at the end of the window.
