The situation is in danger of turning into something of a circus for Albion. The player clearly doesn't want to be at the club, Bloom has allegedly given his word the lad can leave, Chelsea have offered a more than reasonable amount, and yet still the club are dragging this out to a very painful conclusion. This farce is all on the Brighton board. Nobody else to blame.

One thing is for sure, this will alert every single promising young player and their respective agent on how Bloom intends to operate moving forward. In future, Bloom might find he's having significantly more difficultly in enticing wunderkinder to the South Coast, given the choice, in light of how Moises Caicedo has been treated. He's playing poker with Brighton's future for the sake of ~£20m and it's a dangerous game. A very dangerous game indeed.
Oh great. This tedious berk is back!

My mate Jake bumped into Caicedo and Milner in the Carpetright in Newhaven earlier.
Apparently Caicedo's fuming, and is going to tell all his friends back home never to sign with Brighton.

You're club will have given Tony Bloom nearly a quarter of a BILLION pounds in ten months.

But we will pass on your thoughts, so thanks for stopping by.

To be honest this whole situation is bullshit and is detracting our focus from what should be the most amazing season in the clubs history.

I can’t be arsed with it now, if he stays, bonus, if he leave so be it. No one player is bigger than the club and I fully trust we will find a suitable replacement.

Moises has proved before with his antics that he can’t be trusted and I’m sorry but I just don’t accept the tight hamstring line the club are throwing out there. If he wants to go then let’s cash in and he can f*ck off, even if that means taking a slight hit on his value.

RDZ has spoken about a potential replacement lined up for the holding midfielder role, with that in mind, get him in and let’s have someone that actually wants to be here.

He’s a grown man, he might be being badly advised but for f*ck sake have respect for t
When do we accept the situation? When a club bids his value. Otherwise it sends a message that you can just sulk and down tools and get what you want. It also means the big 6 clubs know they can influence things by getting to players and agents and social media to get what they want cheaper.
In the long run not selling Caicedo and having him not play would earn more money than just giving into the status quo.
Exactly, usually taking a stand is the right thing to do. Barber and Bloom have plenty of back bone

Brighton not selling Caicedo to Chelsea is far from a farce. If anything, it’s Brighton making a statement of intent. TB is not a pushover, nor is he the type of person who will let big clubs compromise what he envisions this club can be. You think he seriously gives a shit what a handful of gurning weirdos with blue heart/lion emojis on their twitter handles say about this club?

Bloody hell I thought the insane Chelsea fans were only on Twitter, not festering on here.

go a read any post on bbc that has a “have your say“ The whole football world is laughing at your team, the joke that spent billions to finish twelfth. The fan base that is so entitled that demanded Potter was sacked and replaced he with super Frank, who was even worse.

that fact your owner is still flinging money around picking up players because he heard that were good, does not matter if you actually need that player or fits the way the team plays.

As much as we were annoyed at Potter for taking all our coaching staff, not just the ones he came with, he literally had zero chance of having any success at Chelsea. Before he was even confirmed as the Chelsea boss, the Chelsea fan base didn’t want him, not a big enough name apparently all over social media, most players are stupid read it and probably had no respect for him from the off.

as others have *uck off, before you infect the forum

No it isn't.

The player clearly doesn't want to be at the club
Just like he clearly didn't want to be in January, just before he signed a contract extension?

Bloom has allegedly given his word the lad can leave
No he hasn't, that's just made up BS.

Chelsea have offered a more than reasonable amount
Reasonable? In whose eyes? They've offered £25 million less than Rice went for. That doesn't seem very reasonable to me.

and yet still the club are dragging this out to a very painful conclusion.
Painful for whom - plastic Chelsea fans?

**** off.

Come back when your clubs management have proved themselves as good as TB in football … in the meantime I’ll carry on laughing with what you post (I’ve been polite here)

Oh and here is a copy of your post last Wednesday …make your mind up 🤦‍♂️

It seems this transfer saga is done and dusted then.

Chelsea have already moved on, are looking at other targets and have already signed 2 DMs - Ugochukwu recently and Brazilian international Andrey Santos in January.

Brighton have received a bid from Saudi, who have limitless money, so will no doubt meet the price Bloom wants.

Doesn't seem complex, so should be wrapped up very quickly from here on in.

I'll put "/s" after it next time so I don't need to explain the sarcasm. The "mystery Saudi bid" was all part of the circus - and it was as clear as day all along.

If I'm wrong, then why hadn't the transfer been completed already? The long it goes on the weaker Tony Blooms hand would appear to be.

You could at least make more reasonable posts if you insist on posting here. I find it hard to believe that anyone can genuinely be as stupid.

You clearly have no idea about how Tony works then.

The problem is, this weariness of the whole saga is exactly what Chelsea are counting on. For Bloom and Barber to think exactly like you are, and just give in and get the deal done. Hopefully they are made of stronger stuff.
Agreed. It's Chelsea that are making this into a saga by not offering the sum they know is needed. The idea that the club would say "this is getting boring, let's just sell him off at a lower price" is madness. Chelsea fans, and presumably Pochettino, are the exasperated ones. We need to stay calm and cool. He's our player and is on a long contract.
