I'm trying to decide where to move to when I return...I was thinking (in an ideal world) around the Hove/Brighton border near the seafront? Any suggestions?

The area around Waterloo St / Norfolk Square has come on leaps & bounds. It's bang on the border, close to the seafront and well served by local amenities (Robin Hood pub, Bee's Mouth pub, Lion & Lobster pub, Bankers fish & chips etc). It's a little cheaper than some other areas nearby as Norfolk Square used to be a congregation point for the homeless in the area and Waterloo St was a bit run down (and became known for a couple of murders/suspicious deaths). It's all been cleaned up now though, so a good area to buy / move to.
