I rarely buy papers these days and tend to flit between online sites of the Guardian, Telegraph and Independent - and BBC news. Hopefully that gives a bit of balance!

I'm not prepared to stump up the paywall fees to get onto things like the Times and FT and find it astonishing and very sad that the Dail Mail is apparently in the world top 10 news sites!

I love the fact that I can (for all its failings) read the Argus from afar - or get Aussie or US online newspaper sites for a different perspective.

I'm assuming that I'm well behind the times and should be getting everything from Twitter like the rest of you NSC'ers!?

The sun online, daily mail online, NSC, bbc sport, radio if driving or working from home.

And if there's a big story (9/11, bin laden killed, London riots etc) I'd read bbc news or watch sky news channel.

I've got a £9.99 monthly suscription for the Guardian which downloads the paper each day to my HTC. Find it really easy to use and you get the whole paper. Otherwise BBC online and the radio.

Murdoch six days a week I'm afraid - The Times Monday to Friday, The Telegraph on Saturday and the S Times on Sunday. Loath the Murdoch papers' politics, their Atlanticism and anti-Europeanism, but I know my way around them and they can afford to pay for high quality columnists. The Telegraph's crusty old-school Toryism makes me laugh but the Saturday issue is high value with good Gardening and Motoring sections. The Saturday Guardian is good too and I try to read my daughters'.

Apart from this lot, I watch News 24 more than anything else. Bit of a junkie I'm sorry to say.

BBC News or Sickipedia.

On the odd occasion I may stray to the Argus website for local news.

Online sites for the quality papers plus the odd delve onto the Argus website , BBC and Sky News. I also use newsnow which is good as a news aggregator for issues , interests and subjects I like to keep an eye on.

ouch......main stream media alert.

i get some rss from the likes of

sott.net redicecreations beforeitsnews ukcolumn and lots more that all stand a long way from the MSM lies.

note: main stream media is owned by profit making corporations with links to goverment think tanks for those that don't know.

That's not as stupid a response as it might initially seem, amongst the gloom and doom this site can be very informative and collects views and opinions from a number of different sources

ANything important in the world tends to get posted here and I can find all the info I need and generally have a laugh as the NSC binfest warms up :lolol:

The Mail Online. BBC news if there isn't anything good on tele and Sky news if that starts to irritate me.

Albion and Premier League latest from Sky Sports
