Were we told in advance these were being taken away? Is it temporary?

Apologies if this is common knowledge that I've missed.

Was news to me when I rocked up tonight on the little bike.

I assume we are getting bigger better ones?

Not sure it’s temporary - all the parking rails that were under the sheds have been moved to the other side.

Walking my bike across the masses heading for the trains was a right pain - and an accident waiting to happen.

Happy to report I was successful and avoided any collisions.

These collisions you avoided. Were they with humans, or with BATS?

A steward told me they are now at the other side of the stadium where the park and ride buses enter and leave. I had a wander up there for a look and they are in the very far corner of the carpark.

No chance of these wing mirror damaging vehicle scratching vermin being insured.
"Vermin"? That really the language we're using now for this sort of discussion?

But presumably without the actual bike racks, as they were moved over to next to where the building work is going on.

Surely there's no chance they're going to relocate them to somewhere where cyclists are having to push bikes through the crowds all round the stadium, and then dodge and weave through P&R buses after the game?

Obviously there are good and bad cyclists, yet when I’m minding my own business and a cyclist dressed like Bradley f***ing Wiggins takes my wing mirror off in his haste to go through a red light and not even stop to offer an apology or pay for the damage then yes road vermin.

That wasn’t by the traffic lights after the Bridge tunnel last night was it?

They don’t even pay any road tax do they? Not that anyone pays road tax anymore, but still.

This is one cultural thing I have not been able to grasp: why do many people in the UK hate cyclists?

Everywhere else its like "its great for your body, the environment, its pleasant to do, it leads to less fatal accidents in traffic compared to driving, less traffic congestion for those who need to go by car" but in the UK its "VERMIN!!!".

Genuinely curious because I can't get my head around it.
