You had to go and spoil it didn't you.

Bland bers IMO. BUt then I'm no big fan of Harveys either

You are currently drinking pretend beer as you keep telling everyone on the Fridat drinking thread  :lolol:

Arundel Brewery Sussex Gold is definitely not bland.

Having recently moved to Lancing I am on the look out for pubs that deliver.

So far I am absolutely loving the fabulous delivery service from the Old Star Ale and Cider house in Shoreham. Phone them up, place an order, free same day delivery on wide range of Sussex ales.
:drink::drink:

But I'm told there are similar Ale delivery pubs in Worthing that serve Lancing. Can NSC help with the details where the normal dark web cannot go?

Lancing is bereft of any decent pub. I tried them all a couple of years ago. The three or four there are. All shit-holes. How a sizeable village can have no decent pub at all is baffling.
Shoreham is your best best. Don’t know Worthing very well. Except for the excellent Selden Arms.

I have been no help at all.

Proper “ are you looking at my pint? “ sort of place in the 80s

It’s not changed.
The hotel Inn place opposite Beach Green is full of plastic gangsters and has about 4 acres of field instead of a garden. Quite tasty barmaids though.

The Farmers is for loudmouthed chavs, wreck-heads and labourers.

The Railway seems to be some sort of overspill waiting area for the Jobcentre.

And not a decent pint between any of them.

The Perch does an okay beer but it’s not a pub. Good looking staff though. And good food.

To do with the type of people in the sizeable village in my view (and I grew up there so I should know)

Lancing has a fantastic strip of beach and Perch is great. Just have to bobble into Shoreham to find a decent pub, no biggy. What is it, a mile ?

Apart from The Farmers the pubs had different names back then, I lived in Sompting for about a year, usually went back to Brighton or drank in Worthing.
