Presumably has a big house from his Southampton days and we are so shit at the moment he could restore some credability in his CV if he could make us reasonably successful. A bit of a challenge.

You really are an absolute joke!! I don't think I've ever seen a post with such ridiculous thinking. Why would Souness & mates decide to risk any cash they have on a club he has zero affiliation with? If you won the lottery, would you risk half of it on Oldham for example?

Does it make you wonder that Leon and Big Mac have already got 10 goals between them in League 1 in no time at all? Comparisons between the leagues are difficult and you would be wise not to make too many definitive statements. We will need a replacement for GNW, that's true enough though.

But then is that because the 2 players stated are playing in systems better suited to their strengths.

Under McGhee, Knight did not score all that many goals in Second Division from open play.

Doubt it, my punt would be that the standard of play is lower and the defenders less athletic and skilful.

Abramovich had a lot of affiliation with Chelsea didnt he.

We are an ideal club for a take over crap on the field, no home ground, as yet, no money to improve the staff or facilities or increase the income.

Good catchment area, reasonable support possibility of getting permission for a ground which could take the club on to even the premier league. Why wouldn't somebody with money see the potential and be interested. As I said Graham Souness is very wealthy himself and has many very wealthy contacts and what top club would give him a job? If he wants to manage again he would probably have to buy the club to do so, why not BHA.
