I never signed up for any of those, but my son (1st rotherfield) was asked not to return to the troop two weeks ago for sticking up for his pal who was being bullied. Callum told the truth and ends up the one being penalised, his friend is too afraid to return and the two bullies are free to do as they please.

Left a sour taste with us. Cal and his pal are going to do cricket instead on the same day but still, doesn't really say much for the "help other people" part of the moto.

I went to cubs 5th/8th (I think). Best thing was the football games on a Saturday afternoon. Agree with earlier post that only complete anoraks went on to become scouts.

Hove
3rd hove cubs, and scouts.
Then moved, and went to 6th hove scouts and venture scouts.

I enjoyed the sailing, canoeing, rock climbing etc, but mostly the camping with the ranger guides :)
