I just think it is a personal thing - whenever I see a NSC username I, find it interesting to see what that person looks like in real life.

I always find that i have made an image of the person in my head and they never look like i expect, does any body else find that or am i mad?

Fjörukráin

Fjörugarðurinn easily sits 350 guests. Here, the emphasis is on the Viking Era and as you enter you step into the world of the past. The décor is in the Viking style and we offer a true Viking feast with traditional meals served in old-fashioned Viking-style trays. During these famous feasts there is never a dull moment and the guests can expect various treats and surprises offered by our singing Valkyries and Vikings.

The fun reaches its height when the Fjöru-chieftain crowns one guest as an Honorary Viking. The menu can, of course, be adapted on request, but we strongly recommend our three-course Viking dinner which includes a selection of hors d'oeuvre, delicious mountain lamb and skyr - a yoghurt-like dessert with fruit. With this comes Brennivín otherwise known as "Black Death" served in traditional lamb horns. Also you can try our "Mead "the real Viking drink.

Do they have any all-inclusive raping and pillaging packages?

Now there's something a clergyman has NEVER asked me before!

I don't think so Juan, but I shall report back

I note that you can pay a surcharge to be 'kidnapped' by the Vikings. Its all very odd.

You can also pay for night-excursions in search of elves and faeries....

I haven't got my username on any shirts, but have been called 'strings' for ages - long before I discovered the procrastinating effect of NSC. I just think it is a personal thing - whenever I see a NSC username I, find it interesting to see what that person looks like in real life.

Yeah but if someone did come up to you and ask if you really are the famous "Strings" from NSC you could always look a bit dishevelled and say 'fraid not.

You can have that one for free. I've got loads more.

Is the correct answer. I think the younger members care about their image and what is perceived to be cool as you get older you don't give a shit what people think. They can like you and take you for what you are or f*** off as far as I am concerned.

just because you don't care if people think you're a wanker, it doesn't mean you're not.

of course, the far bigger crime is referring to your other half as Mr or Mrs username...or your kid as username junior or little username. don't know why, but that gets reet on me teets.

referred to my girlfriend as Miss bumlick once. won't be doing that again in a hurry...

I only ask so that I can go and stand outside protesting.

its MUCH weirder when people use internet usernames at games when face to face with each other, or people to refer to people as their usernames instead of real names, even though they all know each other

people I dont know, or have ever met use my real name on here - which I find a bit strange

But what about if your username is a nickname that was used long before NSC came to pass. Most of my friends call me pasty, yet some know nothing of NSC.

Quite - In fact, most of my friends call me Rowdey, know of NSC and think it's f***ing sad. :D

In my case, there were two other David's working in the office, and we needed to distinguish each other - being the youngest and newest, i got monikered with Rowdey (play on surname, and fitting description) and it's stuck to the point were i have a limited company and web domain named it.

You're right Rowdey...when I played in your 5-a-side team last year, I couldn't remember your name
