Just reading post about the cost of a chocolate bar being 60p and it made me think about how much things have gone up since I was a kid (which wasn't that long ago)

I'm pretty sure the last time i brought of a mars bar it cost 28p which was something like 13 years ago, and i'm sure ciggarettes have almost doubled in price since i first brought some. Anyone out there remember when everyday items cost alot less....someone out there must have paid a penny for a mars bar or 50p for twenty fags????

Bloody hell!

Would it be rude if I asked how long a go that was?

Hither (sometimes Thither)
Razzle used to be a £1. On average, that could produce 8 fiddles a month. 12.5p a fiddle. Now i'd be looking at forking out £2 a time to manhandle myself without mercy, and it just doesn't seem worth it. I've had a chat with my imagination about coming up with some top-notch still-shot filth, but it's not what it once was either.
