When do the brats go back to school?

Nah, I got bored if I was home for longer than 2 weeks at a time, Saturdays were the best day of the week, a lie in and football in the afternoon

Heh. I'm a mean mum because he doesn't get a lie in on a weekend.

I just figured more school holidays would give us a chance to do family stuff. Not sure how it will work out but he really hates it I guess we'll have to look for a new school for him.

Last Wednesday->Friday here. Journey to work is 20 minutes longer as a result, at least the brats are Foxrock Tractor'ed home by the time I leave in the evenings.

Nowt wrong with state schools! I believe it doesn't matter where you are educated, if you want to learn, you will!

There are plenty of perfectly good state schools around, unfortunately there are none in our area that have small enough class sizes that we believed our children would get satisfactory attention, nor that teach a broad enough spectrum of subjects.

It's no good putting a child who wants to learn in a class of 28 children in an under performing school though.

Mine went back last Monday but theyhave been off since June 28th. I'm told they will be off from the end of May next year
