Stayed until the end. Never left early before, and don't intend to.
What really pissed me off were the people who left when the second penalty was given, but pushed their way back past everyone after it didn't go in.
In fact, people moving about pushing their way past all through the game really pissed me off for the entire first half, until I moved to the front during half time...
i can never leave before the end of games. i stayed at palace (even though they wouldn't have let us out anyway!) and i stayed tonight. pretty dismal game though
Must admit I left at 3-0, 5 mins from the end.Only ever left early from a match twice and both times at Brentford.Got home early nice drive back, worth it.
First of all my wife was very cold, she's not used to the weather here.
Secondly she's on a plane back to the US today and I didn't want to be out too late.
Lastly, having seen the debacle at Bournemouth on Saturday when only piss poor finishing saved us from areal hiding it was clear that we weren't in it and frankly, performances like that make me glad that I won't be here for much longer. Sorry but I expect better than that.
Only the second time I've ever left before the end (3-0, 15 mins left). The other time was Palace. And then come back to a nice, glass filled, bagless surprise. Can I forget yesterday please?
Well in the whole time I have been supporting the albion I have left early form two games. once was last night about five minutes before the end and the other was two years ago at 4-0 down at the very same ground, not going back there again.
ive NEVER left a match early, even the palace game! but last night i had enough! let at 83 mins, but heard the 4th cheer as i walked to my car, i knew it had to be 4-0! disgraceful!
3-0 and it was all over for me, had 4 ladies with us and they were so bored and talking about make up and other shit that we thought we had better get down the pub to sink some beer or face a certain bout of madness.
Also I am never taking my girlfriend to an away game again.
Stayed to the end AND THEN had the indignity of going into the "Stripes Bar" (Brentford bar in their main stand) to meet Brentford mates and renditions of "Can we play you every week", etc, etc!!
Then missed my connection at Brentford station and didn't get home to Brighton until gone 1am!!
What a pants night (although hola BB and BB's younger, more alcoholic brother!)
