When did NSC suddenly become so right wing?

Seriously left wing and libertarian. Not surprised really but these tests do not represent the grey areas very well.
I've taken it before and came out to the left and more liberal than Gandhi.
It is definitely flawed though. Just look at the first question:

"If economic globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve humanity rather than the interests of trans-national corporations."

Who would disagree with that? Shell Oil executives maybe, not a lot of normal people I wouldn't think. But actually a right wing view might be that the benefit of companies IS the benefit of humanity.

I must confess I have never thought you to be particularly right wing, and without wanting to appear to be sucking up to you, have always read your posts with interest, as you can construct an argument, and your former Neo Nazi connections fascinate me. I've always had you down as the Edward Norton character from American X

I completed the test, and always thought myself to be a bit of a wet liberal, and this may confirm it

Economic Left/Right: -3.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.10

Just out of interest, who do you think of as "particularly right-wing " if not someone with a Neo Nazi past and who you liken to "the Edward Norton character from American X"?

I agree that some of the questions are a bit black and white when the answer is grey, but this seems to be roughly in line with other political comnpass tests I've taken in the past.

Yep. Economically and socially libertarian. I'd go with that.

... I think the consensus in the last twenty years has moved to the left on social issues and to he right on economic matters.

The point of this test is to measure economic matters on a left/right scale, but "social" matters are measured on a Libertarian/Authoritarian scale - left/right is meaningless in that context.

Forgetting NSC, how popular would I be in the USA?

I think that Hampshire is the Edward Norton character at the end of the film, who has reflected on his former associations with the far right and changed his mind.

Das Reich is the one of the people he left behind in the cesspit of ignorance, envy and paranoia that personifies racists.

Maybe the test needs a third dimension, relating to spiritual matters?

Left Libertarian - so I can hate all the main parties with a fair degree of consistency.

As for the original point of the thread - as we have moved away from the Archer years more right-wingers have outed themselves. I'm sure one of the them will at some stage point out that the Man from Lancashire was simply identifying an asset and making the most out of it...

I not sure there is a term for midgets with an unhealthy obsession with mass murder.
