[Misc] Whatsapp subscription...scam?

Got a text earlier claiming to be from whatsapp asking me to click a link to pay 99p for a lifetime subscription. Obviously I have not. Anyone else this? Smells of a scam to me. I've never paid for Whatsapp, which is the point, right?
