To be honest though - I would have tried a little harder to pick a more obscure psychologist. I just typed in 'conformity' into trusty old Wiki and lo and behold, Kelman's name is there, top line straight after the contents.

Conformity - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Poor show. Stick to the smileys, eh?

Or. I did a social psychology unit, on the AQA psychology specification A.

If you REALLY want, when i get my A2 book, i can take a photo of it, in my hands to satisfy a you. And show that i am actually, a fairly good psychologist, and to show that you were shown up and fancy talking about wikipedia?

What else in psych do you want to know, i've also donen psychopathology and stress.

for paper 1, we did memory (which featured studies by lindsey in to Eye witness testimony as far as i can remember), attachment and research methods.

We've done Stanley Milgrams study into Obedience, we've also done Hoffman and his study in a hospital with a stranger who worked in "pshycology" asking nurses to adminster a drug at double the prescribed level.

Obviously there's Zimbardo and his prision study.

All of these are basic studies that you get taught at AS.

:Absolutely everything I can remember about my course, even though it doesn't really have much to do with the binfest - (memory and obedience, FFS) smiley:

Yes, this is lots to do about the course.

This is literally me telling you that i'm not some wiki-abusing warrior, that i have actually done psychology, and therefore you can't have a go at me for using wiki. You changed your tune quickly.

If you really want I can debate with you the pro's and cons of behavioural, biological and psychodynamic approaches to abnormalities. Or what ever floats your boat.

Sure, this is a binfest, but don't slate my psychological knowledge.

EDIT: I put this because you said i used wiki. Your point abotu me listing my course is invalid. So f*** off? :wanker:

So nobody knows then. Except Edna who's not telling, and is only interested in the size of the guns.

Typical bloody women...surely it doesn't matter what type or size the gun is, as long as it packs a big bang and you can shoot straight!

I found out the A27 was closed at Arundel, when I arrived there at 2200. I only found out the reason after doing a tour of the country roads and arriving home at 2245. If only we would share information, my BP might be lower. :dunce:

There are often valid reasons why information isn't shared though.

Calm down! You're only doing A2 level humanities! I wouldn't start getting too excited about your 'psychological knowledge' yet!

I still know enough for it not to be deemed a quick use of Wikipedia. :annoyed:

Unfortunately AS psyhcology does not translate to 'psychological knowledge'. AS psychology is about how good you are at remembering studies. It's a bit silly. But that's really what 80% of it is.

Take it from someone who knows. I've taught it before.
