From Victoria up to Oxford Circus on the Victoria line, and then Central line to WC.

Or you could get a direct Watford Junction train from Brighton to Olympia and 25 min walk from there.

There's one or 2 multi storeys around I think, but I would check on a football grounds site as I never drive up there

On the day we last played them away in the league on boxing day 2002 there was a car park near whtie city tube station that also offered a free minibus ride to the ground.

Much appreciated that was too.

From Victoria catch the:

District (Green) line to Notting Hill Gate - about 6 stops.

Then Central (Orange) line to White City - about 4 stops.

It will take 1/2 hour tops.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

It will be good to see the away full again. Plymouth & Sheff Weds are the only teams to do it so far this season. Both lost 3-0.

Wednesday gave up singing at 2-0, Plymouth sang to end. Do you sing when your losing ?

Rangers have been grinding out narrow wins recently without playing particulary well. Think it is unlikely that we will match the above score-lines. Likely be a tight one. Will be Happy if the R's win by one goal.

I disagree, and so does the tube.com journey planner.....

From: VICTORIA
To: WHITE CITY

Victoria Wait for VICTORIA LINE train
Victoria 5 mins. Get on train to any of:
WALTHAMSTOW CENTRAL or
SEVEN SISTERS or
KINGS CROSS ST PANCRAS
Oxford Circus 9 mins. Walk to CENTRAL LINE
Oxford Circus 10 mins. Wait for CENTRAL LINE train
Oxford Circus 15 mins. Get on train to any of:
WEST RUISLIP or
NORTHOLT or
EALING BROADWAY or
WHITE CITY or
NORTH ACTON or
RUISLIP GARDENS
White City 29 mins. Arrival

For starters you can't get a train straight from Victoria to Notting hill gate, you have to stop at Earls Court and then wait ages.

It wasn't a BBC car park, it was a reasonably sized outdoor one near White City station on the same side of the road... I didn't see if it was open at the LDV game, hopefully it's still for use.

In regards to the tube the Notting Hill Gate way as mentioned by Hove Ranger is slightly quicker but not much in it, don't think it really matters.

But it's the Circle line from Victoria to Notting Hill Gate and not the District Line.

Bollocks to car parks. There's loads of street parking less than 10 mins walk from the ground.
