No apologies for posting another Neil Young Live song. If push comes to shove he has to be my favourite songwriter and guitarist with longevity that beggars belief. Also happens to be the coolest don’t give a f*** guy

Bruford tapping away on a log drum
Levin giving it subtle stuff on a Chapman Stick
Belew getting howls & screeches from his guitar
Professor Fripp sitting in the corner as ever just keeping it all going.
Definitive KC lineup playing one of their finest songs.

An absolute masterpiece. Paul Bowles novel inspired it (someone here have read that book?). Pure Africa and pure desert solitude. In times - we are in '80s - where very little and few musical groups were able to play something radical and original using just guitars and simple tribal rhythms. There were only "plastic music" in those times, id est keyboard oriented one. Discipline, Beat and Three of a perfect pair are my best appreciated albums by KC, while I know their precedents very well: In the court,,, In the wake,,, Islands,,, Red,,, and so on
