www.moneysavingexpert.com is a good place to start.

My advise is to get a card that has a 6 months 0% finance option followed by a rate of 4% or less for the lifetime of the balance transfer - there are plenty out there. The key point though is never ever use the card otherise you will be charged the standard 18% on cash advances and purchases. If you want money for purchases lump it all on the old credit card and then transfer to you new low interst rate version.

If you do that it is much better than anything you get at the bank
