I May Destroy You, Small Axe, Normal People.

Really enjoyed Shrill and it is still the only place to watch Fleabag in its entirety.

I recently watched a couple of great football documentaries on it as well - France 98 - The Three Musketeers and Return to Turin.

Oh and if you've got nothing better to do at 6:30pm or on catch up - Lightning is one of the weirdest quiz shows you'll ever see. The "physical" challenge is so bizarre.

I made the mistake of catching Lightning yesterday. Like a mixture of 15 to 1 and a poor man's cube. Really weird.

You'll suddenly find yourself stuck to the sofa at 6:30 everyday soon enough.

It is so weird and the host, Zoe Lyons, is so mean to the contestants. She told a loser yesterday to "go away, calm down, and meditate." The guy was smiling the whole time.

Most probably as it follows on from House of Games which I love.

Recently just found and watched Frankie Boyle's Tour of Scotland, very funny and very informative. Be quick though as it only has a week left on I player.

Just seen that The Terror starts on BBC2 on Wednesday.

If you didn’t get to see this when it first came out (it was on AMC in 2018), I thoroughly recommend it.

Werner Herzog documentary on enthusiastic volcanologists.

If you like Werner Herzog and volcanoes you will like it.

Warning! Gets very bleak.

Although not yet on iplayer, I did notice that on the 7th of January on BBC4 that the excellent Early Doors is having a well deserved re-run.
I believe that all episodes will then be available on iplayer.

Nothing that warrants paying for a license.
a lot cheaper for a license fee than it is for a subscription to Netdix or Amazon - 2 organisations that offer mediocre content and pay no tax in the UK . The BBC provides unrivalled global news coverage , vital where democracy is threatened , the best drama in the world and wonderful sports coverage . The news is completely unbiased and , again , has the best reporters . Without the BBC this country will have little left that sets us apart...

Not for me, much of the BBC’s content you can access free on the BBC website, uktvplay, YouTube etc. plus all BBC radio stations. I don’t know how anyone can happily pay that licence fee.
