Ah....Ceefax!!!

Young un's on here haven't got a clue what it was like to 'watch' a match on Ceefax......honestly it wasn't pleasant at all waiting for page 3 of 3 to come round (e.g. Walsall away) and seeing if we'd conceded a goal or three.

Great shout for the Hereford game, they're cool, I like!

My cousin bought me a mug with the ceefax page of the Doncaster game.

Is often quite the conversation starter at work [perhaps my entry for the Bell Cheeses at work thread].

If I was buying a t shirt in reciprocation id probably elect for the Chesterfield title win or Swindon play off semi final as he didn’t manage to make either of those...

The Hereford game would be good, but I'd want it to look like an authentic Ceefax page. Something like:

Her ford United 1-1 Br$#hton & HA
Mayo (og) 21 Repnelt 62

Words were distorted when I was round my gran's house due to the bad reception.

I can never forget as a 10-year-old Shi tlif $£ t 0ff for Charlton Athletic and the huge amusement it caused.

Would like a recent palace win. But it’s difficult to narrow down which one

For me probably my first ever Albion game, the 4-1 tonking of mighty Carlisle United in the 1985/86 season, or of course the infamous encounter at Hereford some eleven years later.

Some people obviously have a memory less than a goldfish, a mere 8 days ago

and we have to start another thread on the very same topic.

No doubt some people think that the film Groundhog Day is a masterpiece, whereas it's one of the worst films every made.

OR.…….we don't all spend our lives looking at / posting on a football message board and have other more meaningful, enjoyable things to do with our time.

Hence my 1800 posts in 16 years and your thousands and thousands for considerably fewer amount of years...

Quite often the score you wanted had a random x or something. Oracle on ITV was worse if I recall.

A bit needlessly pissy, on this fine summer evening, O musical one......???
