If you could be the manager for the Leeds game, what would you change?

Working with the current squad.

I would play a 4-4-2 formation, i would take out hammond or Crofts and i would start Dobbie up front with CMS

Attack!!!

I'd go with that except take out Kaz (who was terrible when he started against Ispwich) and play Orlandi. Would love to see Dobbie playing in the space behind CMS. With Bridcutt, Crofts in the middle and the experience of Bridge and Bruno at the back we can afford to be a bit more attacking. We need to have a go at Leeds from the first minute, we don't seem to want to attack in the first half.

This very lineup has been suggested in many posts over the last week or so.
It must be time to start with Dobbie. I don't hate Barnes but it's time to try something a bit more adventurous.

The way I see it, we still haven't solved our squad deficiencies in that we still need an a) midfielder that can put themselves about a bit and b) a striker that can hold the ball up.

All this despite the fact we have about 13 central midfielders most of which are utterly mediocre in this Division.

I think whatever team you'd pick it would struggle in this Division without those players.

I would be happy with this but the main thing I would change is upping the tempo right from the start. We are at home, we are live on Sky, attack attack attack!

Two out and out wingers and tell them to play right out wide and stay there. Dicker in for Crofts so that we have someone who can actually get the ball to those wingers.

OR 2 up front and then five at the back (El-Abd, Greer and Dunk across the middle), with Bruno and Bridge as proper wing-backs, although that plan might involve dropping Buckley who is without a doubt our best player.

Surprised no one's suggested Orlandi starts - he's been one of the few players who have stood out over the last 6 games, deserves a start.

Going on Poyet's total refusal to play with the two wingers we all long to see, what about this...

----------------Greer-------------------------------El Abd---------------
------------------------------------Bridcutt------------------------------
Bruno---------------------------------------------------------------Bridge
--------------Buckley----------------Crofts------------Orlandi-------------

Problem with everyone calling for all-out attack with a 442 formation is that Poyet has made us very hard to beat, yes I know we have lost a few games of late but our defence is the meanest in the division. Poyet’s tactics normally work it’s just we don’t have enough potency in attack, if we put even a third of our chances away we’d be near top spot by now.

The people moaning about his formation and the teams approach would be moaning like crazy if we went all attack, got hit on the counter and got stuffed 3 or 4 nil. Some of the posters on here need to chill out, with our defence we will be comfortably mid table at the very least, when our forward players hit form a gain we are going to win plenty of games I’m in absolutely no doubt. In the immortal words of Mickey Adams ‘keep the faith’ and in my words stop being moaning little girls.

I'd rather lose 4-3 than 1-0. We are never going to win the prem, so give us bloody value for money. Teams can get out of this league by playing attacking football.
