We’ve probably had this one before, but what would you consider to be the greater managerial achievement, when taking spending power into account? Guardiola keeping Citeh unbeaten throughout the season, or one of the respective managers of either us, Newcastle, or Huddersfield keeping them in the EPL this season.

Guardiola going unbeaten all season. Almost every season 1 of the 2 promoted sides who weren't Champions stays in the premier league. Only once since football was reinvented has a side gone unbeaten for the whole season, it really doesn't happen often

If Dyche got a top 8 place that would be quite an achievement (just realised that not part of the question)

I think the unbeaten run would be a greater managerial achievement (or equally so team). Newly promoted clubs stay up every year and is a fantastic achievement, but an unbeaten season, is like a snooker 147 or a 9 dart finish. Few can accomplish it

Wagner seems to be getting the pundits praise despite being only a few points ahead of us. Their more positive playing style is most likely the reason.
