think they will survive as Sullivan and Gold are pretty cute but they will have to offload some of their expensive imports.
Birmingham will be in more serious trouble if they don't make it.

Fortunately both clubs have extremely impressive academy set-ups which will stand them in good stead on the playing side and that could be the difference between survival and the abyss.

I am sure Mrs Brady would put a positive spin on it

Would take another few years of missing out on promotion before they are in the shit. The owners have said they'll stick by Big Sam if they don't go up, but I can't imagine the fans would be happy with that. Di Canio is a very good suggestion there terryberry1

I thought Sullivan & Gold had enough to ensure they have a future for a long while. Don't think they stipulated Fat Sam to get them up this year - he said he would though. Mind, if you really want to ensure they go down the toilet, I reckon appointing Di Canio would do that.

Fat Sam will be given his P45, Di Canio will take over and West Ham will walk the league

This.

As a West Ham fan I am slightly worried about out long-term future should we not get promotion but a lot of people have glossed over the fact that when we went down in 2003 it took us two seasons - losing in the 03/04 Play Offs to Palarse then winning the 04/05 Play Offs to become a reputable force in the PL.

We have a good backbone in our squad and should be okay even if the likes of Nolan/Taylor/Green left.

Would love to see that goon trying to manage a team like West Sham, his big gob and huge ego might have Swindon in awe but it would be comical to see him take on E13

I thought that the Golds had made it clear that Shoddy Sam would not be sacked if they didn't get promoted.

But on a positive note, does that mean if they do get promoted, he will get the sack? Now that would be funny.

If they stay down and keep the lardy dinosaur in his job, guaranteed that they would fire him by Xmas if they are outside the top three.

Swindon have done well this season, but the Swindon fans I know don't rate him or like him.
