As for formations, I've always liked 4-4-2 but as each opponent is different I prefer a winning formation.

We'll probably mix 'n' match during season and that's how it should be.

Nope - he's an out & out right-winger. If he signs, Hart's best shot will be upfront

If thats the case I think Id rather see Hart up front with Knight, although there are the obvious height problems with that scenario.

I think Hart will start from the bench IF Kanchelskis does sign, Coppell seems pretty adamant that he's going to see what McPhee can do up top.

Of course Harty will play otherwise.

ps I think Kanchelskis would be good playing in the whole and running right at the heart of opposig defences, making space for Knight to utilise.

My god i hope we sign him.

I liked 3-5-2 last season but SC has always said he likes 4-4-2 so I expect that's the way he'll go.
I work with Dan Hardings old man and he's chuffed to bits. Defiantely one wholl break through this season with Mayo/Jones/Harding rotating positions dependent on form

442 is preferred by SC, so I reckon he will go with that in the lower div.

I think it looks likely that he will go 442. But he has always stated that if needed mid game a switch to another formation would be preferable.
