Well I learned that although I understand totally why Gus played the players he did today, cup games are not for me any more under his management.
I thought I`d learnt my lesson last season. Also confirmed what I`ve always thought about Navarro.
Roll on the league next saturday.

It was the 5th round and Prem club - I agree we didn't play well but at least we got that far.

I put this on another thread but what happened today was far better than losing 1-0 to Mansfield who were at the bottom of League Two at the time. Results like this often happen on 3rd round day which is why everyone talks about the magic of the FA cup. Lower opposition up their game for the 90 minutes and banana skins happen. We didn't lose today and are still in the draw. Thankfully Palace were knocked out or else we'd have their vermin all over us like a rash tonight.

Pretty harsh. When have we had that many young players who look accomplished on the ball? And JFC is undoubtedly special.

No I am not because he has shown that he is capable of making the step up amd other than Hall the rest didnt look as if they could even against non league opposition. I was just generally disappointed with the overall team performance it was if most didnt care.

Might have been better to go the other way round, ie start with CMS, Bridcutt (the only other options), hopefully bag a couple, then put the DS players on. Thought they put in a good shift, personally, pity Barnes did nothing to enhance his reputation though, would rather see Agdestein tbh .
