Too many to recall with any accuracy from the dim and distant past.

For sheer disappointment the 2-0 home loss to Palace in the Play-offs took a lot of getting over.

Got to be vs Walsall. Them down to 9 and lost 1-0 and I'm pretty sure they scored with 9 men, kinda makes it feel worse

With all the wailing and gnashing of teeth after tonight's limp effort at The Kenny, I wondered what the worst all time performance you have ever witnessed from the Albion was. Feel free to combine it with your worst away day experience.

For me, having traveled the length and breadth of blighty in the 90s there are a few.

One I especially remember was a 4-1 defeat at Bristol Rovers in April 1992. I was sitting in the main stand and It was summed up by a Rovers player on the ball shouting out 'Come on, this is easy'

The score could have been so much more that day.
Bristol Rovers away 1992 was the one I mentioned on the way home last night when we had a similar conversation.

3-0 to Rochdale in Nov 1996. Simply terrible
Gets my vote as well. The utter despair I felt after that game about our future is not something I want to think about. I think that game featured one of Ashley Neal's (mercifully few) Albion appearances, didn't it?

Most of the home games at Gillingham were grim to be honest.
I think it was Scunthorpe away where Jamie Moralee came on as sub and we were 2-0 down and got sent off in no time.
(Just checked and it was 98-99 and sent off within 2 minutes for punching an opposing player)
Apart from that losing 5-0 to that load up the road

Kids on NSC, did you see the age demographic thread?! 😂

I don’t think the two era’s are exclusive when it comes to comparing shocking performances though. With the money we’ve spent and quality of player we’re able to put out these days and against opposition last night with much less resources than us, it is perfectly acceptable to moan about that heartless and brainless performance. I was there at Priestfield to watch us lose 1.3 at home to Cambridge etc etc and can say in their own ways the performances were equally as bad.

But anyone asking for a refund is a tube.
I didn't mind that one so much (the 1-3 v Cambridge at Gillingham). IIRR our one goal was Gary Hart and we hadn't even put the ball in the net for several matches beforehand so it was a bit of consolation. Took it well too - from memory.

Losing at home to Sudbury Town in an FA Cup replay at the Goldstone.

- Losing to 9 man Walsall at Withdean.
- 5-1 at home to muff.
- Majority under Hyypia. I always struggle to understand why Bloom rejected his resignation at first.

Walsall but not the obvious 9 man one.

I think back in the day - late 90s - the Bristol Street Motors as is today was the "Auto Windscreen trophy" It was our first team back then, not the under 21s and they were are an absolute bag of wank.

We lost 5-0 and I remember there were 80 something people in the away end as I did spent some of the game counting the numbers in the away end. I think Andy Ansah played. Jesus Christ he was bad.
