Portsmouth V Brighton about 1988, Warren Aspinall scored against us with a backward header and we lost 2-1. My friend got ejected from the ground for celebrating our goal, and was put in a caged area of the train on the way home (used for mail?) with the other twenty ejected. Happy days!
We were 2-0 down at half time and it wasn't that long after our 12 defeats in a row so did fear the worst but but in a decent performance in the second half and felt that we could have even won
Charlton on New Years Day 1985, we scored after about 2 minutes and held on for a 1-0 victory, later that season I also went to Palace away...the game where Gerry Ryan had his leg broken.
