[Albion] What to do with old Albion programs...

In dealing with a death in the family, I've rediscovered my stash of old Albion programs. Mainly late Eighties and early Nineties. There's a few key matches from '83 too.

I just don't have the room to keep any beyond a couple that are special to me so wondering how best to move/sell them on. Any collectors on here? Albion museum?

Any help much appreciated.

Think we've all had the same problem.

99% of them are worthless. Charity shops won't take them, and more hassle then they're worth getting rid of on ebay. Mine all went to the tip, except for 2 or 3 special games I kept just because.

As did mine very sadly, the bottom has dropped out of the market football programme wise.

Yep, mine too. Pre 1950’s might have some value

Thanks for the feedback.

Seems a shame just to dump them. If anyone wants them, let me know. Pick up in BN1 area or could drop off.

I feel your pain - I've got 50 years worth of programmes which nobody seems to want. They are going to have to go to the dump but it is a real shame

I had this issue.

I booked a random Tuesday off work and just sat in my house and read them all day.

Then I dumped them.

Incredible the number of players I'd completely forgotten about

If anyone has a mint copy of our games v Ipswich 90/91 and Bradford 94/95 seasons (both last game of the season) let me know as I know someone looking for them.

Well we all know what your specialist subject will be in the next series of Matermind!

Seriously though, didn't Des Lynam choose to answer questions on the Albion in a celebrity edition some years ago?

I offered some of mine to the Historians but they have loads. I put them in the recycling bin.

Should be able to leave them at the Amex for Junior seagulls to read up on our history ! Sadly I dont think many would be interested.

I’ve got loads in the loft and stuck in various cupboards. These include Gulls Eye editions and various other fanzines. I can’t bring myself to part with them. I once took a few of the more interesting ones to work and left them around for people to read. They are a good reflection of what it was like to be a fan in the eighties and nineties.
