I agree with an earlier post in that Knight needs a big bloke to play off upfront and Hart dosnt have the natural left foot we need to play on the left, surely if Coppell is signing Kanchelskis he is going to play him..so where does that leave Harty.
On the bench for me.

Play Kanchelskis up front with Gary Coleman, the nearer he is to goal the better, Harty to continue on the wing?

Drop Jones (far too temperamental and inconsistent).

Harty doesn't need to worry about his 'lack' of left foot. He beats the defender, cuts inside, and delivers one of those crosses into the no man's lad between the last defender and the goalie. Up pops Knight - bosh - goal, back of the net.

As they can swap over and back again during the game, Kanchelskis and Hart on the wings would be absolutely brilliant.

At the foot of the downs
Harty will play on the left, hes done it before and done it well !!

Let's go all out and have an attacking team.

Knight as forward

Slightly behind have Hart and Harding (?). Or buy a new player to take Harding's place. Have ski man on the wing, to run up and down the pitch to his hearts content!

Good to have a "Selection Headache" for SC. Sign of a strong squad!

Kanchelskis - would almost certainly warrant a place on the right.

Jones is no Hart, so would feel inclined to give OGH the nod there.

Here's a thought... I wonder if Coppell (or others) have ever tried OGH at right back? Even when a dedicated forward he tracks back superbly and often makes good challenges. Watson is a shadow of his former self (although admitedly haven't seen much this season) and Hart could have the potential for being a useful attacking full back.

I thought harty would have made an excellent wing back in SC's 5-3-2 cum 3-5-2 formation

Kanchelskis is dragging on a bit now...

...is it really worth signing someone who is this unsure??

FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
Id put Kanchelskis on the left...simple.
Harty was our best player against QPR, put good quality in all night from out there.

You can always rotate them during the game, I like to see wingers switching sides and causing trouble.

Kuipers

Piercy - Cullip - Hinshelwood - Mayo

Kanchelskis - Carpenter - Rodger - Hart

Knight - Wilson-Denis

Roberts
Pethick
Oatway
Henderson
McPhee

With Jones' suspension coming up i'd have Kanchelskis & Hart alternating wings!

Piercy must be better than bloody Watson even if right back isn't his natural position!
Carl Wilson-Denis
I prefer Kuipers

would be good to see if Hart can play on the left and do damage, maybe with Mayo behind him. But lets just wait and see *IF* the man who can sell skis can sign!

last year i would have said 'yes'. but i think watto is regaining from, he has looked ok to good in the last 3 games. i think andrei and ogh can play on the wing and just alternate.
