Good luck finding enough to do in the most overated town in England.
The pier is crap.
Have to pay to go on it and there's nothing to do once you get there.
Went with five mates from work about four years ago on a Saturday night in July.
Complete waste of time.
Nearly all the pubs in town centre were calling time at 11pm.
Just another boring English town with the same shops, bars etc as everywhere else!

Go to the sweetie shop, by two giant bars of Aero,(2 for £2 at the moment - would recommend 1x mint and 1x chocolate) and relax in the knowledge that the bubbles will melt in your mouth. If you are on your own you will find that you get to enjoy all of the bubbly sensation yourself, although it is good to share.

For anyone not in Bournemouth, I am assured that the sensation is achievable anywhere, provided that Aeros are available.

haha ignore the absolute tosh being spouted on here!!

If you're into nights out then Bmuff is up there with Brighton now (and Im sussex through and through, so no reason to be biased!)

Some great bars (even on weeknights)

Jimmys
Bar So
Bliss
Toko

Nightclubwise not bad, Elements is the main club but all genres of music are pretty much catered for, just ask around.

strip clubs are good value, FYEO and spearmint rhino are a good laugh and a new ones just opened at the top of town - called Fantasy Palace

Outside of Bmuff, sandbanks is indeed nice, cafe shore is a personal favourite, but generally there are loads of nice restaurants in the area

enjoy!

I went to Bounemouth about 8 years ago and found it rather dull but maybe it's changed since then, ain't had a reason to go back and check.
