United have an EASY route to the final.

porto - easiest draw.

semi against villareal - should win or Arsenal - easiest of the 4 English teams left in.

United will be in the final.

Liverpool vs United final would be brilliant.

Perfect draw for United.

I expect deep down the team Ferguson would least like to face would be Liverpool, who now have to get by Chelsea, then probably Barca - the two other best teams left in the comp.

Not only that but to despatch Mourinho's current team and then his old team should bring a smile to the Scotsman's face.

How long before everyone realises how BORING it is seeing the same teams again and again and again at the final stages?

I used to think it added a bit of spice to see a couple of English teams there, but now it just serves to show up the way that TV money has skewed the beautiful game.

Where's the final this year?

Rome.

Which, I understand the English clubs are unhappy about because of violence to fans in the past... it could be interesting if two English clubs make it to the final again.

Arsenal v Bayern final I reckon.
i actually have a sneaky feeling that aresnal will get to the final! they will have eduardo, adebayor, fabregas and walcott back and the way villa are going will have less pressure on the league. i fancy them to sneak past united and meet barca again

Good, at least one of the smugfests of Chelsea and Liverpool won't be there, whingeing fans, "We're better fans than you" mentalilty, I will be delighted to see which one of those 2 loses, and I hope it's a really contentious decision that settles is, then the fans can whine on about for ages. Then, whoever gets through, I shall be cheering for the other team, regardless.
