What music makes you think of a film straightaway?

Florence and the Machine; "Dog Days Are Over" = Slumdog Millionaire

I've not even seen the film, just saw the bloody advert every 15 minutes on TV for about 2 months.

-When I shoot up it reminds me of that film "trainspotting"

-When I have unprotected sex with someone who has aids, but i don't know they have aids, reminds me of that film "Kids"

-When i kill a black man by doing that curb stomp thing, then i go to prison and realise that black people are alright and racists are rubbish, but while i'm in prison my brother gets into the whole neo-nazi scene, so when i get out i have to persuade him not to do it, but then he gets shot, it well reminds me of that film "american history x"

- When I dress up as a nun and go running over the grassy foothills of the Alps bursting into song, it reminds me of that film, what was it now? Oh yes, "Good Fellas".

Pretty much all music from Tarantino films are entirely now linked to their corresponding scenes in my head.

What about Barber's Adagio for Strings from Platoon.

Also, a less well known one, but anyone who has seen the film Zodiac will be unlikely to hear "Hurdy Gurdy Man" by Donavon (although you're probably not that likely to hear it anyway!) without thinking of a serial killer!

I'll try and think of some more!

I think Huey lewis and the news - Power of Love will always be associated with Marty McFly on his skateboard

No, that reminds me of 'Homeworld' :)

Not exactly in the film per se but whenever I hear the 20th Century Fox fanfare at the start of a movie I always think of 'Star Wars'.

Hither (sometimes Thither)
Starship - Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now. Makes me think of Kim Cattrall's career and how perfect she was playing a woman of plasticity, cursed for an eternity to seem inhuman and forgettable in whomsoever she wishes to pretend to be. And sometimes what i'd like a mannequin to look like if i were to stick my penis in it in a PG film. Wanting it to be a bit like a normal lady, i'd want one breast larger than the other and a hair or three in places they can't seem to see in mirrors and a puzzlesome look forever papered to its freckled face. I'd also want it to be one that changes colour and race.

Shoreham-by-Sea
There's an ice cream van in Shoreham that plays 'The Harry Lime Theme'. Keep expecting Orson Welles to step enigmatically from the shadow of the cab every time I step up to get me Midnight Mint.

Whenever I hear the theme tune to Jaws I always think of Jaws.
