It’s a very overweight courgette - slice and saute in olive oil with a clove of garlic .

Cook it like any other squash (de-seed it, roast it, boil and mash it etc). Just like other squash type vegetables, it will be pretty crappy.

I think its courgette or marrow related, either bird poop with seeds from compost, or seeds in compost usually spread them around...Cut it open and you'll know...

Let us know what it tastes like (cooked of course). Squashes were one of the few successes on my new allotment, so I'm on the lookout for new varieties.
