I didn't realise Green Book was this year.

I'm gonna cop out and joint first it with Peanut Butter Falcon.

Thoroughly enjoyed both far too much to split them.

Seems a pretty poor year for me, but there's still the rest of December (Star Wars, Cats, Jumanji, Little Women, Lucy in the Sky, Honey Boy, Black Christmas, Motherless Brooklyn, Playing with Fire, the courier, spies in disguise still to be released).

Avengers Endgame is my favourite, but that has 20 films feeding into it and that carried with it so much investment, that it would be hard not to love it.

Putting that to one side...

Jojo Rabbit
Knives Out
Judy & Punch

Are probably top of the list, though not necessarily in that order.

Star Wars is still part of the voting as this ends 31/11/19. My 6 best, not seen so many this year

Ad Astra
The Lion King
Green Book
Knives Out
Fishrerman's Friends
Dumbo

The best of them all is of course

E.T came home for Christmas

"Arsenal v Brighton & Hove Albion" in UHD on Amazon Prime.

Some terrible acting by Torreira and a little predictable, but a great finish.

My worst one has just changed.

Marriage Story.

What a pile of shallow, yank cobblers masquerading as deep and meaningful. Worst film I’ve seen it in a long time.

Racism still alive in Hollywood.Awful.

I was baffled when you said this earlier in the year and still am. To me it was a film that absolutely called out agains't racism at every point

Mentioned in despatches:

Stan & Ollie
Le Mans ‘66

And I’ve yet to see Joker, but my film of the year so far is...

Once upon a Time in Hollywood

An absolute masterpiece.
