And on the Bristol Stool chart, I suspect it must be a spectacular 3 or 4.

In a similar conversation I had one such thing described to me as:-

I recall the most enormous floater in a restaurant toilet in Dieppe back in the mid sixties which required the whole family taking it in turns to visit the w.c. (no his and hers in France of course, just a somewhat utiliterian single facility) just to see and believe. We went back several hours later and it had defied all attempts to sink it and still sat proud when we left at the end of the night.

This resistance to sinking appears to be a feature of the larger stool - I suspect they would be classified as type 3:rolleyes:

The biggest fecal matter i have ever seen was a few years ago, when i went into a cubical lifted up the toilet seat and there was one long poo, that curled round and round and it fitted perfectly, i was so shocked, i didnt have the nerve to flush it away. lol

Just watching the Panorama programme on c.diff

all joking aside this is a massive issue in hospitals (from where the chart of stool types originates). C diff sufferers are all "type 7" and the disease spreads like wildfire because of the lack of hygiene in most hospitals and the lack of basic knowledge and understanding among hospital staff (especially doctors and nurses). I am absolute.y passionate about this disease as my wife nearly died of it last year - she lost 60% of her bodyweight and only recovered when I took her out of hospital and nursed her at home
