Wire brush in the bottom of the tool box, reach for a spanner and a wire filament goes under the finger nail...

My shoulder 6 weeks ago. I was ready to lose the arm at one point! I've had a toe to finger transplant, and that didn't hurt half as much!!!

the pain in my heart has been much worse than any physical pain I have ever had

Probably when my younger brother pulled my finger out of its socket and then snapped it. That was pretty painful.

Horrid isn't it. I had two male nurses pulling it and getting nowhere. A liitle bit of wee might have come out.

Me too - apart from the wee bit. Thankfully i was well out by the time it popped in, but it took a few attempts and two men to do it!!

When I was a wee boy I was walking down the stairs at a friend of my mother's house and her little daughter jumped on me (apparently she liked me - yeah bollocks) and in the process pushed me head first into the sharp corner of a metal radiator. That was bad enough (and may explain quite a lot), but worse to come was when my dad, a doctor, put stitches in without any anaesthetic. Not the best day I've ever had, and an early warning that when a woman likes you, it always ends up as a f***ing disaster.

The pain i'm in at the moment has got to be the most prolonged and soul destroying pain i've ever been in, I would'nt mind but the hospital have now decided they hav'nt got a clue whats causing it. :(

a few candidates including broken pelvis but I think the winner was the pain generated when trying to have a large dump whilst in possession of a bulbous perianal ulcer... ouch

I read a few years ago of a pub rugby team touring Ireland. One of the players dislocated his hip and the doctors pushed it back in only for the player in question to let out the most blood-chilling scream ever heard.

They'd accidentally got one of his testicles caught in the socket.

ouch.

Where does it hurt?

Starts in my lower back and goes through my hips, across my lower stomach, through my groins and into my bollox. My thigh muscles are numb and the rest of my legs are just weak. They told me it was coming from the disc's in my lower back and even talked of removing one but now they've changed they're minds and said the disc's are not that bad. Now they hav'nt got a clue whats causing it even after giving me every scan you can think of. I'm in hospital tomorrow so they can give me injections in some nerves in my lower back to see if that will aleviate some of the pain.

Probably one of the backs - no 'fat boy' would ever embarrass himself (or the team) with such wimpish behaviour.
