I disagree. I think our identity is to capitulate quickly and our style is nondescript. The bigger and more important question is what is his plan A? We haven’t played with an identity or style for quite a while now.

In Marseille, we continued to attack at 2 goals down and got back in the game and drew it.Plan B for me would be different in different circumstances
In Roma Plan B would be to leave some defenders back defending when we are behind 2-0
Because we made a crap signing. This happens. Thankfully it's only a loanWhy are we paying huge sums to have Fati sat on the bench? Makes no sense.
He was the GOAT at that. Receive ball with back to goal, wait for contact, go down. Pressure relieved.Muzza was VERY good at collapsing in a heap at the right time - then again he was focused on that, rather than which pattern wall pass he had to play next.
In the current side, we’re struggling with our hold up play.He was the GOAT at that. Receive ball with back to goal, wait for contact, go down. Pressure relieved.
Getting up the pitch does not seem to be a huge issue, it's the lack of ideas and/or fannying around when we get there. I'd say a player who is 'great in the box' would be an asset. Let him hang around up field and be someone to look out for in nice positions when the others arrive. This is the main argument against getting Undav back for me. Great in the box, but does he have the all round game to get us up the pitch? I’m not so sure.
JP has been doing that continually for the last 2 matches, and Welbeck also, and the refs have played on 90% of the time. It seems that going through the back of a player to get the ball (or not get the ball) is back in favour again in PGMOL when you're playing against BrightonHe was the GOAT at that. or get to the goal line and cut it back Mitoma style.Re-programme the wingers/advanced FBs. At that point (level with, or nearly level with, the eighteen yard line, and a few yards in from the touchline) - you know, the one where they are trained to stop, turn round and pass it back to a team mate who will work it out to the other wing (to repeat the process in reverse) or back to Dunk or the GK - re-train them to ping the ball over, hard and fast, into the GK's corridor of uncertainty.
Never mind thinking about it; never mind looking to see who's there - just do it - it's the responsibility of the attacking players to bloody well get there! If they're any good, once they get the idea that is what's going to happen, they'll bust a gut to get on the end of it.
A great tune
