Is it just my opinion but has has the last week been a shambles.
We have let go a 20 year old striker who had the physical presence of a 28 year old but certainly lacking experience. Surely in a physical league we would have been better of keeping Elder instead of Dixon. But we are down 20K on this.
Alex Revell is a good hard working average player, I thought he was brilliant for us but I always had the feeling that he was not going to get any better.
We have signed a terrior from Scotland who will certainly do a job but who is going to play alongside him. Paul Reid is a nice guy and a good player but he is just not physical enough to to play in midfield. Tommy Frazer is so so raw and at least 2 years off being a first team player. El-Abd is a Centre Half and nothing else, he will also have to stop making mistakes or he will find himself in non league football, maybe he could stop going to the casino till 3 pm in the morning. Maybe the Irishman is the secret weapon.
Hammond is not a legend and can be replaced, I have seen at least 20 midfielders who I can name who are twice as good as him.
We really need to push the boat out to sign Leven, he had an excellent start to his career. But is really an unrealistic option, I would be so suprised to see a Scot move down here unless on really good wages or personal reasons.
We really need 2 more new players but I will keep the faith in DK DW and the ever more influence of Barry Lloyd.
Let's hope for the best

That ronaldo fella's quite good too.

Not sure I'd describe it as a shambles. The transfer periods during Mcghee's reign were pretty hopeless, although I'm sure DK had as much to do with that as the manager.

The problem with Elder was he was never going to command a regular spot with us. He'd always be third or fourth in the pecking order so it's no surprise he's gone to a club where he'll get more starts.
