What I see at Brentford...(totally self centered thread).

I saw...

Artois
BAG
TC
Dwayne
Rougvie
Safeway :)safeway)
Jonneyboylennon
Turkey (ovbiously)
Italia (gave turkey his pie)
Hilton Parmer
Frog (new guy apparently)
D-T-E-S (or whatever he calls himself now)
Seagullible
Paul Hazelwood

Now...what didnt I see? Oh yes.

I didnt see a single brighton player who even looked like he wanted to be there. I saw a pathetic performance, I saw no effort. The albion faithful expect more. You guys are paid thousands every week, and you gave us a performance like that?! Wages should be docked in my opinion. It simply wasnt good enough. There is losing twice on the trot...and there is being totally humiliated twice on the trot. Booker cant foot all the blame, but think of it this way. Under Coppel we lost...but we were never made laughing stocks!

Another thing that pissed me right off was the amout of fans streaming out of the terrances on 77 minutes! If you've paid for your ticket and travelled all the way up there, you may as well standout the whole 90 minutes. About 35% of the terrance just walked out. Tottally unacceptable. Certain Brighton "fans" (if they can call themselves that) just decided they'd rather see how Arsenal are doing. Its like paying for your ticket and not turning up! Why not give your ticket to the hundreds of real albion fans who actually want to be there. I hate glory hunters. Im know the club cant survive without these part-time half wits but it really does get at me.

Its was like being back at the Pissfield stadium. Personally, Id rather see 3000 real, die hard, true blues than 6000 half wit part-timers who are only there to impress there mates at work.

I didnt see a single person I know of nsc leave early...what does that tell you about the quality of fans posting on here.... Exactly.

I know I'll get loads of stick for this, but its what I think so if you dont agree then I just dont care.

To all those who stayed to the end, I salute you.
To those who went as soon as the going got tough...:nono:  :censored:

Thank you and goodnight.

I stayed until the end, but I invariably do. However I don't think there's any moral high ground from staying and torturing yourself. Going to the football is supposed to be fun, and it normally is win, lose or draw. But when you're 3-0 down and playing that badly, it ceases to be fun. No-one's a prisoner there, you go when you want.

It was luke warm pie, but Turkey is a poor student and needs all the nourishment he can get during the long hard winter nights ahead.

Off course. I wasnt suggesting it was a moral high ground issue. Im glad you stayed till the end. Im glad everyone I know did. And absoultly football should be fun. But you also have a resonsibility...if you call yourself a fan that is...to get behind your team. I got annoyed by our perfomance, but I still stayed. The people who only go expecting brighton to wipe the floor with any other team just because were top of the league shouldnt turn up. Every team has a bad game. You should still stay and cheer them on.

Havnt the team got a responsibility to at least try during the game then people wont leave early.
Ive only ever left 2 games early one was P****e and the other was last night after the 4 th goal, I dont mind losing but yesterday was an embarrassment.

As I said on another thread - I walked out early for only the second ever time - Palace 5-0 being the other. I had to travel to Bristol for a meeting so thought I would avoid the traffic.

I'm pissed off at the amount of people who keep trying to tell me how to support my club. At 3-0 down, there was no way we were coming back the way we were playing. I'm no sadist and didn't feel a machismo need to stay to the end to prove I'm a proper fan. Like everyone else, I'd paid for my ticket, paid for my travel and, as it turned out, lost over £200 of personal belongings from my car as well as my work stuff. I think I'm entitled to leave early if I want without having to justify myself.

I saw lots of people too and I can't be arsed to list them asI no doubt will forget someone and piss them off.

I also left before the end as well cause I had the right hump and couldn't be f***ed to wait until the end. It doesn't mean I'm npot a fan ro any of the other shit. I would hope the players were thoroughly embarassed by their performance.

Sorry to hear about you stuff getting nicked. I didnt say your not entitled to leave early, Im just saying if you've paid for your ticket then you may as well stay and support your team. You having to travel Bristol is ovbiosuly a good reason to leave early. Im only expressing my opinion. Im not botherd who agrees or not.

Im not telling everyone who to support their club. Im telling you how I support my club.

Well said Cornholio.
Having said that I have never left early!
I get a bit peeved at this 'who is the greatest fan' thing, its a bit like the post count thing, maybe it reflects the age group of posters.

Sorry - bad mood. But I really don't see the point of watching your team being outclassed by a team you should be beating. I get annoyed by the people who leave Withdean early when we are 1-0 up as that is a lack of support but away games are different, especially midweek games or games a long distance away.

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
I left a few minutes early, really because someone stood on my nephew's (8) foot and I felt I had made him suffer enough already.

Like I said people....

"Totally self centered thread....my opinions." Quite interesting to see that quite afew agree with me.
