Livermore is a quality player and is better than El-Abd and fraser and probably jarret. That is a fact and it is there for everyone to see.

No, that is not a 'fact', it is just a subjective opinion. That said, I agree Livermore should have started in central midfield today, with El Abd at RB and Virgo in the middle. I can't understand how anyone can knock Fraser's contribution today - which was far better than the headless chicken that some seem to see him as.

It's funny that this season people are complaining so much about the defence... even suggesting Elphick was good last season because of Butters. I'm pretty sure we were most effective at the back when Elphick played with Lynch.

The truth is that Wilkins played a formation that protected the back-four. Adams doesn't, so the back-four are exposed much more than they were last season.

I think we're now beginning to realise how good Wilkins actually was. It's a shame for the club that it's too late. We could have had players coming through the ranks representing their team, and having success. Unfortunately we have Adams.

Not such a brilliant point, but again you are very good at drawing attention to something completely different to the thing you've just been criticised for.

There is a difference between criticising a players performance and posting nasty little bits of personal abuse towards certain individuals.

Answer my point please. How is my (in my opinion very MILD) criticism of players at the moment any worse than the constant bitching, moaning, and slagging off of Micky Adams? Everyone is entitled to their opinion so if 100 people want to write 'Micky Adams is a useless dickhead' then I don't mind, but don't try and make out I'm somehow WORSE than these people.

Sorry mate, you're doing it again - asking another question whilst failing to take the criticism.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but your personal abuse towards certain players (and staff) is obvious to most on here and frankly not worth debating because it's seen you off the board on at least one occasion.

Livermore hasn't looked great when he has been played although that is mainly due to sticking him at either left midfield or left back even. I still think that a CM of Livermore and Jarrett is the best option that we have.

I agree, of course it's double standards. Fans completely slate Adams, standing on the side shouting abuse at him, going as fas as being very personal. But if people dare to slate the players in this manner it's a different subject entirely.

livermore has been the best central midfielder i have seen play for us this season, on the rare occasions he has been given the chance to play in there - most people seem to realise he should be in the team, except for the one that matters

I'm afraid that Tommy's game this season has been shown up to be very two-dimensional. It's either the flamboyant flying header thing or the big hoof thing. Both of them aimless. The only thing he seems to have added to his game this season is increased use of the elbow.

He obviously feels under severe pressure out there, but would benefit greatly from somebody sitting him down and telling him he's actually got a bit more time on the ball than he thinks he has. Clear case for bringing in a defensive coach with a brief to drill into the defence the need to play the ball on the ground a lot more.

Dont know why you are shocked by this at all, its happened for years - people would rather have a trier than someone who is a bit of a dick but has more skill in his little finger.

I really cant see why Brighton are in the bottom four with this attitude.
