What Has Livermore Done To Piss Adams Off?

His CV says he is a quality player, one that should be better than our 4th choice centre back in midfield, one that says he is better than our youth team product.

He has taken Hull to the Premiership, Millwall to the FA Cup final, even watching the "entertaining" first half of the season DVD, the highlights show him getting forward, get a couple of assists, been involved in attack moves and of course his GOAL against Swindon.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why he is not in the team, or even get on in centre midfield, I guess he will be stuck at left back on Tuesday, and he will probably have a bad game because he is out of position and Adams will stick him on the bench for the rest of time.

He is a good player, he is one actually contracted to us next season, so why not use him?? If he turns out to be shit, he wont be any worse than the El Abd experiment

I want to see him and Jarrett play in the middle on Tuesday.

Livermore used to be one of the hardest midfielders in lower leagues and when we signed him it convinced me we had a real chance of going up this season.
When he played at Carlisle he was our best player by a long way (not hard i guess) but i`m certain that if he played alongside Jarrett and Kuipers came back in goal we would stay up comfortably.

Isn't that the truth. I think you can afford to have ONE runner/worker type player, but he MUST be a leader and organiser. Someone like Oatway was always shit on the ball, but you can just about accomodate this if he's a leader and the performance of those around him improves as a result of him being there. Cullip is an even better example. Unfortunately we've got about five hoofers in the team and NONE of them are leaders. But, as you say, it's ok because they all came through our youth team and they 'try their best' so we're all supposed to lap that up. And all the mugs in the stands will still be supporting them as they try and run their way out of league two next season. The introduction of a little bit of quality in Jarrett, Birchall and Davies has improved us tenfold - why don't people see that if we got a couple more in and drove the shit out we wouldn't be in the mess we are now?

Most non retards can see this, sadly Brighton has a fair share of retard fans.

Just look at the CKR situation.

The CKR situation was quite different surely? He had bags of talent, but very rarely used it as he, obviously, thought he was far too good for the team. If he had quarter the application of someone like McShane then we would not have been relegated.

I am more than happy for players to come here with a view to bettering themselves and moving on, but they have got to earn their corn, shirley?

He may have been top scorer, but his goals were few and far between when he was starting. He certainly did not make it difficult for McGhee to put him on the bench.

Right here, right now
Livermore and Jarret should be our first choice in central midfield - FACT.

The first bit I agree with, the last bit is nasty little comment that sums you up. Be critical, but less of the that ....
