but i do think Fraser is a useful squad player
I want to see him and Jarrett play in the middle on Tuesday.
Isn't that the truth. I think you can afford to have ONE runner/worker type player, but he MUST be a leader and organiser. Someone like Oatway was always shit on the ball, but you can just about accomodate this if he's a leader and the performance of those around him improves as a result of him being there. Cullip is an even better example. Unfortunately we've got about five hoofers in the team and NONE of them are leaders. But, as you say, it's ok because they all came through our youth team and they 'try their best' so we're all supposed to lap that up. And all the mugs in the stands will still be supporting them as they try and run their way out of league two next season. The introduction of a little bit of quality in Jarrett, Birchall and Davies has improved us tenfold - why don't people see that if we got a couple more in and drove the shit out we wouldn't be in the mess we are now?
Most non retards can see this, sadly Brighton has a fair share of retard fans.
Just look at the CKR situation.

The CKR situation was quite different surely? He had bags of talent, but very rarely used it as he, obviously, thought he was far too good for the team. If he had quarter the application of someone like McShane then we would not have been relegated.
I am more than happy for players to come here with a view to bettering themselves and moving on, but they have got to earn their corn, shirley?
But he was the top scorer at the club and wasnt even starting
