An asteroid took a 17,000 mile detour and ended up smashing into the remains of the West Pier.

Confirmed, it was the second asteroid.

Brighton Beach was destroyed by the equivalent of a nuclear explosion.

Adam and Carlna Trimingham have cycled down to see what's happened, and the Argus are doing an 8 page spread on Monday all about it.
