I work in financial services and earn less than a female colleague who does the same job. I gather it's ok that way round!

Is it any of my business? if not fine, tell me by all means...... if you think it's ok for everyone to know, do it on here if you want to?

Perhaps if you are going to start a thread like this then it would have been a good idea to say what you do and how much you earn!

As you know Tony, I am in the building industry. I will soon be 65 and will be cutting back my working hours, so my earnings will be less, but I anticipate my declared earnings will be around £20,000 a year.

Odd thread, or to be more precise, an odd tone to it. Has something sparked this?

This will only turn into an I'm better than you threat.
So for that reason I'm out.

We already had that with the - do you earn more than 50,000 a year? - thread a while back.

I think it's possibly the internet version of driving a flashy car
